Don't Underestimate These Moving Heads for the Price

I have wanted to buy some moving head lights for some time, but for the gigs I would use them at I didn't want to spend too much, plus the crazed rapid movements and strobing of the inbuilt programs were simply too annoying. I know I could take out the strobing and change speed by using a DMX controller, but finding a controller that has a decent audio sync is just as hard. To put it simply, the sound mode on these lights is great, with good beat sychronisation and smooth looking motion that gives the impression of more expensive lights. Colours and light output are strong, and for me the absence of strobing in the 4 standard programs is a big positive (it is in the DMX options however). Master/slave works well, but if you want to use pan-inversion (for a criss-cross action) you have to point the base of one head forward and the other back. Not the greatest build quality, and the plastic looks a little naff, but for the price these are excellent value for small to medium gigs.

Confirmed Purchase
Value For Money Fixtures

These fixtures offer two benefits, Colour Wash and movement, thus reducing the need for separate fixtures. There are four built in programmes all offering differing levels of movement. The colours produced are vivid and bright and a pair will be more than adequate for a medium sized venue. The units can be mastered / slaved and also offer Slave2 mode which gives opposing movement. These units are solidly and appear to be well built. Not in the same league as similar American DJ products, but not in the same price range either. I am very happy with these fixtures for both what they do and the great price. Perhaps not fixture that you would use all of the time but a very useful addition to your lighting arsenal. Good product, good price, recommended.
