Edit Mode - Digital Lighting Workstation Specifically Designed for DJs
SoundSwitch’s Edit Mode is where users can be as custom or automated as they like. Users can work in the Digital Lighting Workstation (DLW) to edit their preset light scenes or build and customise their own lighting displays. The workflow and user interface has been designed to be similar to audio editing and music production software providing a familiar look and feel for DJs.
Create Custom Lighting Displays
SoundSwitch allows for full customisation and lighting control. Users can control every feature of their lighting hardware including colour, brightness, strobe, movement, gobos, prism and more.
Autoloops - Automatic Light Shows Synced with DJ Software
The Autoloops feature automatically syncs lighting scenes with audio files that don’t have scripted light shows as the DJ performs. The software ships with 32 prebuilt Autoloops which are all customisable and will always cue perfectly on the beat when needed.

Once you master the basics it's a great product that you can produce some really interesting light shows with.

Brilliant lighting kit
Amazing bit of kit for programming light shows, takes a bit of getting used to and setting up but really makes your lights look so much more professional that having light to sound.
The best bit is you can have the volume down really low if you have little kids or babies around and the lights still work.

Hi guys. Can you assign this to a midi controller keyboard? For eg. Akai mpk mini. And do I need to pay an additional subscription or fee for the software.

The SoundSwitch software does allow connection of midi controllers, including the MPK Mini. You will need to subscribe to use the software, the Micro-DMX dongle includes 3 months free access. There is also an option to pay a one-off fee for the software.
Hey guys, will this control DMX moving heads that are not typical RGB configuration or is it only for things like RGB parcan style leds?

Yes, it can control numerous different dmx fixtures, even if the moving head etc is not listed within the software. As long as you can email the parameters from the light’s manual, the guys will add it or give you a generic driver for it.
I have had to do this a couple of times and had an answer within a couple of days, some multi function lights have to have additional tweeks made to suit your taste but as long as the lights have 3 pin dmx, there should be a driver.
Have a look at something like the gigbar 2/move on the soundswitch website for example to understand what I mean about the tweeks … works great!
