The Reloop Buddy is a compact, powerful 2-channel DJ controller developed in close partnership with Algoriddim for the tightest possible integration with the award-winning djay app. Space-saving but fully featured, it gives DJs of any level the tools to perform creatively across iOS, iPadOS, Android, Mac and PC - with a built-in device slot that holds phones and tablets up to 12.9 inches.
Staff take: the expert verdict
The Buddy is the controller we recommend to newcomers and to experienced DJs who want a genuinely portable second setup. The deep djay integration means it works straight out of the box, and having real jog wheels, FX paddles and an 8-mode pad section on a unit this small is impressive. The standout is Neural Mix - flipping the EQ knobs into stem controls to isolate drums, instruments and vocals in real time is brilliant for creative mixing and something you won’t find on most controllers at this price. At just 1 kg with a built-in device slot, it’s made for the sofa, the road and everywhere between.
