Read ALL the bad reviews, they'll never be as good as MK2 etc. Well if you can justify spending ridiculous amounts ok money on 20-25 year old decks then go ahead. Or do what I did and buy these! I've owned MK2 and PLX 1000, when I got the PLX I really couldn't tell any difference in terms of mixing compared to MK2 just that they looked a bit different and they didn't say Technics on em. These MK7 are of course different looking to MK2 etc buy they feel like 1210's to me! Was worried about the digital pitch and yes it does feel different to a MK2 but I have to say I think it is way more responsive, and these no Click at 0 creating a dead spot. Build quality issues in reviews, well, the start stop button is plastic, I think? But they are definitely not as light as everyone is making them out to be, they are a bit lighter but I'm not gonna get walking round the house with one under my arm! The bad reviews on feedback, are you playing on em in a club? No? Well stop moaning about non existent feedback in a home studio environment! 1210 bought bang up to date, I love em!
