This Smart Socket kit includes a front lid that takes a single Neutrik D series connector or equivalent. Typical applications are for the provision of control data outlets on a lighting bar using 3 or 5 pin XLR or CAT5/6 Ethernet connectors. Alternatively 3 pin XLR and SpeakON connectors can be fitted to provide audio inputs and outputs. Kits are shipped with all the necessary screws to assemble them along with full fitting instructions; to fit them you only need to drill a single 16mm hole in one wall of the tube. Then simply press the Smart Socket into place and tighten the 2 self tapping screws; you can then install the wiring for your lighting bar.
