I purchased this as a portable controller for smaller parties, and also for outdoor events. I prefer it to the Pioneer DDJ200 as it has a built-in soundcard and so it is full stereo and no need for the splitter cable. I also like the fact that it has a slot for my iPad so feels better integrated. It will run from a USB powerbank so doesn't need mains power, and will also charge the iPhone/iPad while connected as well.
I like the native support for DJs Neural mix, it's the only controller on the market that has this currently. The only downside is that the jog wheels are very close to the EQ knobs and it's easy to accidentally nudge them without meaning to.
