Works straight out of the box without a king set up. I leave it in SOUND2 as creates the most effective display.

One thing the instructions mention now where is that you should unscrew the remote receiver. The first one I had was eventually damaged in transit and the laser stopped firing as a result.

Easy to use, and quick to set up and take away. Not as powerful as my old mobile lights, but good for most function rooms, not suitable for very large events on it's own.

As an aging DJ who works alone, I found setting up a cross bar and several lights to be very time consuming and even with using short kettle leads and distribution blocks, the cabling always looked messy.

The Chauvet Gig bar 2.0 has solved this problem for me, it takes very little time to set up and in my case shaved a good 20 minutes off my setup & pack down times for a similar set of lights. Just one IEC to plug in so no messy cables, making it a great purchase for new Dj's who are looking to provide a half way decent light show and for those who want to get in and out of a venue a little quicker.

The cases are fully moulded around the lights so they are fully supported during transit and are solid enough to take a few knocks

Love this light - has everything you need for a mobile party. comes with a light stand, wireless remote and foot pedals. there is a key for the laser, this has to be in for the laser to work. strong stand and over 2m in height - easy to adjust the pars and the derby's to cover the room.
really nice case for the light as well, hard foam padding.
