Having had Senn 25s forever, I fancied a change and check out of competitor offerings. I went with Pioneers twice but snapped headbands within 5-6 months of use took the shine off a premium feel. Luckily DJkit refunded twice within warranty - a truly 5/5 customer experience. I saw the Aiaiai offering a while back but wasn't in the market for headphones at the time. A modular system appeals to me for longevity. These came in a box ready for assembly and putting them together adds to the feel of a premium product from locking cable inputs to the matt finish of the plastics. Sound quality is great in the DJ box - punchy and clear acoustics. Comfortable ear pads finish off the package. My only criticism would be a lack of carry/protective case which cost me another £25. Highly recommended. Time will tell if the headband will put up with the weekly performance rigours.
