The DDJ-FLX6 is the ideal mid-range controller for DJ's who are ready to go to the next level.
With Pioneer's club style layout of large jog wheels, a 4 channel mixer section and effects, the FLX6 is easy to navigate and gets the user familiar with pro level equipment.
Each side of the controller has full size jog wheels with animated central display to show the track position, as well as 8 performance pads and a new Merge FX control.
Merge FX on the new DDJ-FLX6 are patterns of build up and drop effects to enable creative transitions, especially when mixing between different genres or large BPM changes. You can preset 4 patterns on Serato DJ or up to 8 in Rekordbox.
Each Merge FX pattern consists of 4 parts; build up FX, build up sample, release FX and drop sample.
Press the knob to activate, as you turn the knob the build FX and build sample work with the rotation, when you stop turning, the release FX kicks in, finally, press the knob again for the drop sample to play.
Jog cutter is a great new feature giving you professional preset scratch sounds at the touch of the wheel. 10 different scratch patterns, recorded with real scratch DJs, can be easily accessed by moving the jog wheel backward and forwards at various places within the 6 divided sections on the jog wheel.
Moving the jog wheel forwards selects the pattern. The pattern will be heard when the jog is moved backwards. Patterns will also vary when the playhead indicator
crosses between sections, meaning you can create exciting scratch routines with ease.
When you lift your hand, the track will continue to play as normal from the Hot Cue position.
The mixer section features a 4 channels with 3 band EQ, individual level LED's and filters. Channel 4 can easily be switched to route the sampler through as well. Beat FX can be easily assigned and activated with the familiar controls.

Faulty kit
After unpacking my new Ddj flx6 kit I was disappointed to find the right hand deck felt different from the left deck. A couple of hours later the deck failed altogether. The next day I spoke to djkit.com and they simply said put it all back in the box and a courier will drop your replacement and collect the faulty unit. The next day a courier arrived with my brand new replacement set up. Very impressed with that level of customer service. Well done djkit.com keep up the good work .

Does anyone have a solve to the feedback/static I've tried everything ,ive done everything possible butbits looking like the unit itself is causing it
Keep power away from audio cables, consider using an audio interface. It's unlikely the controller causing the noise as it USB powered. You could also consider ferrite chokes (there is most likely one on your laptop cable) this may also help.
Does this unit have input sockets to connect a iPad or other audio equipment via a RCA audio cable
No it does not, it has 1x usb output to plug into a pc. But no other inputs.
