I used to DJ during the 90s - had a residency, played loads of illegal parties and some guest slots for the like of the Cream tour. Always kept my records but kids and a job became the priority so DJing took a back seat.I was one of those people who was reluctant to adapt to the digital world.
Recently started flicking through my tunes, got an itch I had to scratch. Wasn't sure if I just wanted to get a standard mixer or go full digital or the halfway house of DVS. Decided DVS was a nice place to get back into it - got the feel of vinyl but some of the benefits of digital. The next question was whether to get a full controller or something like the scratch which didn't have a lot of the functions of a full dedicated controller. You know where I ended up by the review.
Such a great bit of kit - if I'd had this back in the day I could see some banging nights. I'm enjoying it more than the Xone 92 I had last (sadly sold) and that's mainly due to not only being a vinyl mixer but also having Serato on hand. Loving being able to flick between vinyl and Serato. Plus it's got a superb sound to it and the filters work so well.
LOVE IT!!
