The first one arrived with an unusable wing nut so we could not even assemble it, however the exchange was prompt and without problems. Unfortunately when we started to assemble it the replacement it was just not right for us. The kit provides a single Allen key but there are two different sized sockets, fortunately we already had one to fit the larger socket. When up it obscured the view of the decks below regardless of how the trays were aligned. Even though it has a heavy base to offset the weight of the trays and CDJs, when it was nearly high enough to allow access to the decks below it was extremely unstable and wobbly, it probably needs some clamps to fix it. It looks like a good idea but doesn't hit the mark.

despite them being labelled as heavy duty, i have to disagree. i wanted to buy something that would slide nicely under my SZ and hold either 2 laptops or a laptop and a cd player. it fit this purpose brilliantly. However i wanted to take out on gigs with me every week, which is where this product disappointed me. The stand is very heavy and feels extremely durable and i didn't mind the weight so long as it was stable while i was playing. The stand had to be assembled to use before my gig and then disassembled afterwards to be able to store it as it is really large. The first time i used it i was really pleased with how strong it was. the angles and positions of the surfaces could be adjusted in almost every way and that really helped for viewing angles on the laptop etc. so was a good feature. from the second time using this stand onwards it rapidly started to wear and become more and more unstable. there quickly became a lot of wobbling and movement, even when the screws were fully tightened. After around 10 uses the plastic inside the part that holds the two arms on the vertical pole came off and i lost it in transit, after that there has been so much movement i stopped using it. As a summary, this unit i would say should be for home use or for a more permanent install in a booth at a club or bar, or just hardly ever (if not never) dismantled. if you can find a use for this stand where you only set it up once then it is a fantastic way to sit 2 cdjs above a controller or a laptop above a controller or similar. if you are looking at a use where you have to set it up and dismantle it more often then i wouldn't expect too much from this unit, it's not heavy duty in that sense.
