We recently threw a "hypothetical" question out to our Facebook community: If someone handed you a DJKIT gift card today, what’s the first thing you’re buying?

To say the response was huge would be an understatement! It turns out that whether you’re a mobile pro, a bedroom scratch-head, or a club veteran, everyone has that one piece of gear keeping them up at night.

We’ve combed through hundreds of your comments, and the results are in. Here are the most-wanted pieces of kit right now.

1. The Heavyweight Champion: AlphaTheta XDJ-AZ

By far the most mentioned piece of gear was the AlphaTheta XDJ-AZ. It seems the community is ready to embrace the next evolution of the 4-channel standalone.

2. The Battle for the Booth: Rane System One

There is a massive amount of love for the Rane System One (and the Rane Performer). It’s clear that motorised platters and that classic Rane build quality are high on the priority list for those looking to level up their tactile feel.

3. The "Sound First" Crowd (RCF & EV)

A huge portion of you are looking to upgrade your "front of house." We saw a massive trend toward RCF (specifically the Evox 12 and J9/J11 series) and the EV Evolve 50s.
