Their first complete DJ controller the RANE ONE features 2 motorised 7.2 inch platters with real vinyl and a built in high quality scratch mixer. The RANE ONE is the most portable complete scratch setup available.
Laid out like a traditional DJ controller, the RANE ONE has a high torque, direct drive deck with a 7.2 inch platter. The platter has a real slipmat and 7"vinyl with a quick release to allow the installation of a custom vinyl to change the look of your controller.
Each side also has a full length pitch slider, 8 RGB performance pads and a touch strip for needle drops.
There is also a setting for adjusting the start and stop time, dedicated looping controls and the large RANE industrial Start/Stop button.
The mixer is a typical RANE scratch mixer, similar to the RANE SEVENTY with their new MAG FOUR crossfader for super smooth response and durability.
You get the standard 3 band EQ and filter which can also be used with the external inputs. Software FX can easily be triggered with large paddle switches which can be latched on or temporary.
Connect two turntables or multiplayers and get DVS control over the software.
Connectivity wise, the ONE has 2 mic inputs on XLR/ TRS combination sockets, master and booth outputs on XLR as well as RCA inputs for bot channels and AUX. There are also 2 USB connectors to allow for 2 computers to be connected simultaniously for back to back DJ sets.
RANE ONE supports Serato DJ Pro as standard and activates it straight away. You get all the new Serato features including scratch banks.
RANE ONE has the typical 'tank like' build quality found in all the RANE products with high quality components and metal casing.

I've moved from Traktor with the s4mk3. The transition was very smooth, the mixer itself looks and feels great. Very easy and intuitive to learn all of the functions along with having to learn Serato as well. The platters feel great, crossfaders supersmooth, great choice of effects with the software. I was also a bit worried about going back to 2 channels but so far haven't missed them yet! All in all this is a great mixer and I'd highly recommend it.
Managed to get hold of the rane one from djkit.com after ordering previously from another supplier and beung told mid April was the soonest i could get hold of one, bit manged to find one here. The one is an absolutely fantastic bit of kit and absolutely feels the same as vinyl, best thing i have bought in ages and great customer service.

The closest thing to turntables I have used. Denon are making strides with the SC6000m but two of those plus mixer will cost three times the price! It's built like a brick s##t house and has some weight to it, though nowhere near as much as two 1210s. The crossfader is pure butter ((gasp!) I tightened the tention on mine! (Easily done)), coming from an old school background I smash it around a lot... This one seems to say "thank you", rather than groan in pain. Only thing to mention is, coming from Traktor and using Serato is easy, however, Serato needs to be more accurate on track analysis, I have to adjust beat grids on around 90% of all music. Works with Virtual DJ, however, you need to either subscribe or pay around £170... Come on VDJ, let's see some discount for non commercial users! Would definitely recommend, brings the fun back into mixing. 15 years using controllers can drain the fun out of DJing, the tactial response of this brings it back.
