Denon DJ Engine Prime v1.3.4 | PRIME Series and MCX8000
Denon DJ Engine Prime V1.3.4 released
Denon DJ have just announced the latest update to their Engine Prime software, the 5th in the last year. This shows their continuing improvement to their library software.
Engine Prime is Denon DJ’s library software to analyse and prepare tracks to use with their leading ‘PRIME’ players; SC5000 / M, SC6000/M, Prime 2, Prime 4 and Prime GO. Denon DJ have also included improved support for the MCX-8000 as well. Engine Prime is free to download and works on both Mac and PC. Capable of reading libraries from the top alternative softwares RekordBox, Serato DJ and Traktor. So whichever DJ software you’ve been using, your playlists or crates, loop points and cue points can all be used on Engine Prime too.
These new updates include support for the latest Mac OS 10.15 Catalina so it’s one less excuse to not upgrade. In line with this, Engine Prime can now also read your Apple Music app (previously iTunes) tracks too, unfortunately though, not Apple Music Subscription tracks.
Other improvements are the new positioning of icons, to the left hand side of the window. These are for selecting crates, playlists and other folders, giving it a more familiar layout to other softwares.
You can now also see the contents of multiple devices at the same time so you can check the contents of multiple USB drives at the same time.
Finally, as with all the updates to software, Engine V1.3.4 now has improved stability and even faster track analysis.
