The Shure BLX188UK/CVL dual wireless microphone system offers an incredibly flexible solution ideal for presentations and performances which require 'hands-free' operation.
From vocal performances to conference presentations, the PG185 lavalier microphone neatly clips onto clothing, providing consistent and clear vocal reproduction allowing you to concentrate on the show. The BLX1 bodypack transmitter ensures the smooth and seamless transmission of signals without the loss of audio quality and clips neatly out of sight.
Featuring professional quality sound combined with reliable and intuitive user operation, the BLX188UK/CVL system allows the use of a both lavalier microphones alongside each other using BLX88 dual receiver.
The system includes: 2 x CVL lavalier condenser microphones, 2 x BLX1 body pack transmitters (for CVL microphones) and BLX88 dual channel receiver.

- What is the PG185 best suited to? - The PG185 is the entry to Shure wireless lavalier microphones and is ideal for a presenter, lecturer or public speaker. It’s a visually discreet electret condenser lavalier microphone suitable for spoken word and presentations.
- What receiver comes with the PG Wireless Dual Presenter System? - The PG Wireless Dual Presenter System comes with the Analog Wireless dual Receiver BLX88 that provides improved linearity and frequency response. The receiver BLX88 is ready to perform right out of the box and is the clearest choice for presenters who wish to unplug from the wire.
- How many presenters can use this system simultaneously? - Up to 12 compatible channels per group with group and channel scan for easy set-up.
- Why internal antennas? - For ideal signal strength, antennas on a wireless system need to be set up in a certain way. The internal antennas on the BLX receiver are already set in this ideal way, offering up to 100 m operating range and optimal signal strength. Additionally internal antennas cannot be broken during setup, use or transport.
- Is the setup really that easy? - Yes, with one button you can start the group and channel scan, which gives you the best open frequency. Adjust the transmitter to the same channel and you’re ready to go.
- What does “Linearity” mean? - The proportion between input signal of the transmitter and output signal of the receiver is always constant.
