I needed an affordable mixer to get back into DJing after a long break.

Technology has moved on since my 1210’s and CDJ-1000 days so i needed something that would not require me to upgrade my decks but allows DVS integration.

This allows me to switch between Rekordbox and controller type DJing but still enjoy a vinyl or CD mix.

Great FX, build quality, especially good XFader and sounds great.

A bonus is the send and return to iPhone to be able to use the DJM-REC record app. That alone saves having to subscribe to the higher Rekordbox tariff.

The only negative is there’s no booth out so this mixer is bedroom only.

This could be the best overall mixer I’ve used. If you’re looking for a bedroom mixer to both mix and scratch on with digital connections straight out of the box, this is a great choice.

After owning an 800 and an 850 over the years and couldn't afford the new, new, new one! Thought I would get this just to see me through but I have to say it really is great! Record box compatible all the favorite effects and controls I'm already used to. A few bits added from the 850 and the nexus, I think the x fader feels more solid now as well.

Ideal for beginners djs working their way up onto main stream mixers.

Looks the part and simple to use, would recommend.
