No introduction needed for the 1200 mk7’s… straight out of the box these are quality.
You get used to using worn out and beat up 1210’s in clubs, so to switch to a brand new set of 1200’s is incredible, solid, tight, responsive and quality in every area.
Full marks to DJ Kit, order placed 10AM Friday and delivered lunchtime Saturday, excellent service.
I’ve had a few sets of 1210s over the years and they are very very similar. Pitch is digital but feels exactly like an analog 1210. No issues with the pitch at all and it’s very very accurate and it’s not stepped as done ppl claim. I initially had the torque on the highest setting but found that difficult to mix with so I set it back to the default and it’s been really great ! If you want a set of 1210s or 1200s don’t bother buying secondhand and paying to get them serviced, just buy new. It will be cheaper in the long run and they will not need servicing as they are digital.
Good basic mixer. I wanted a simple mixer for my vinyl turntables and this works a treat. I like that the master volume is on a knob rather than a slider so no chance of accidentally whacking up the volume.
Thought Id only have this a short while and upgrade but surprisingly I have found it more than a stop gap and will not rush to buy! Its easy to use and of decent build quality- recommended!
So far this thing is working great. It's had many, many, hours on it and still working great. It has everything you could ask for in an entry level mixer for scratching and mixing. The "CF slope" cut off function makes scratching a breeze. It's a nice size with a lot of features without the dials and switches squeezed in close together. The fader moves well and not bleeding yet. I'm very pleased so far.
