I have just recieved a pair of PLX 500 turntables and I am very impressed with the build quality, ease of use and audio output of this product. They have far exceeded my expectations especially considering the price! I had read that the plastic build of the PLX 500 could lead to unwanted vibrations and sound distortion however after putting the decks through their paces over the past few days I have experienced no such issues. Great product; Im listening to my collection with new ears!
Great cheaper alternative to the more expensive PLX 1000.
This turntable mate not have as powerful a motor as it's older brother or the technics 1200/1210 but this direct drive turntable is definitely adequate for house DJs.
Read a load of blurb about issues with this product and having over 20+ types of decks over the years from technics stantons etc etc.. these are as good as any, albiet they are for more sedate use at home but the quality is up there with the best
Ordered a pair of these for home use, listening and mixing, and are spot on. USB allows you to convert vinyl. Quite a few turntables out there at around this price point to choose from, but for me was an easy decision as I have other Pioneer DJ equipment and always been happy with the brand. Build quality is very good, I had read some reviews that said the plastic build could cause some unwanted feedback, but personally not had any issues. Sound quality is very good. A very good mid-price turntable bearing the famous Pioneer brand name. Very happy with these now added to my set up. Highly recommended for any level DJ/ music enthusiast!
It was so well packaged and delivered really quickly. The deck is amazing, really worth the money. DJKIT.com is the best, don't even think about buying anywhere else.
Bought for my home set-up this is the perfect peace of kit. A good sturdy weight and very easy to set up out of the box. You may want to invest in a better quality slipmat but the one supplied is adequate for those just using the turntable to record their vinyl direct from the USB connection which is as simple as anything with Rekordbox. My only improvement would be for Pioneer to put a dampener on the stylus light as it pops up very quickly and is a bit wobbly. However that's just a personal preference from an old DJ who used to use Technics back in the day.

love these turntables great beginner budget turntablernthinking of upgrading the needle for better scratching but still scratches well with the one it comes with
Great entry level turntables, value for money is amazing. Make sure you do your research on calibrating the turntable (Cartridge alignment protractors etc..)

Loving this turntable. It’s my first proper one (before was a cheap plug in portable one) so have had a lot of fun with it. The matt black is really smart and has an elegant over all feel to it. Only thing I would say is maybe the slip mat could be a bit more interesting. But that’s personal preference.
Well what can I say? It's Pioneer... sure it's no Technic 1210 but this turntable is incredible for the money. Fantastic build quality and feels really sturdy. Would recommend to anyone looking for a turntable
Not as good as it bigger brother but handles performance very well once fitted with a nice weighted head. The R.A.C cables feel cheap but this turntable dose give a very clear audio signal without any audio loss. The main think here is to make sure you calibrate the weight, height and anti-skipping in order to match your stylus, this is where the magic happens. I've played with these for almost 12 months now and I'd like to give these my personal rating.
Not a Technics by any means. Build quality is not quite the same but as far as mixing goes it makes little difference. There is some reverberation when holding the record in situ when revolving but this does not effect the sound when actually playing. You can scratch but I would say there are better decks for not allot more that can do this. Some include a gereric concord cartridge as well! For home use this is perfect for me and I am more than happy with my purchase.

I used 1200s back in the 90s then gave it up
and wanting to get back on the decks and play all my old vinyl i gave theses a go and for the price i cant fault them they do what i want no problem
Had a play on these today didn't like them didn't seem to be up to much Kinda slow on take off after having lil scratch on them compared to another turntable the torque pull seemed lot more better. Audio technica lp120 seemed lot better.
For the money you cant go wrong. I got the rega rp1 before the pioneer and the pioneer is at least 50% better and the rega was the performance pack version so you're paying about the same amount and you're getting a much better record player with the pioneer. One more thing to change from 45rpm to 33rpm on the pioneer you've got button's to change plus you can play 78rpm on the pioneer where the rega you got to change 33 to45 manually you've got to take the platter of and change the belt from one groove to the other groove plus if you want to play 78rpm you can't on the rega so all the plusses go to the pioneer.
I needed a mixer to do me short term as I waited for my main to be fixed. Solid piece of kit would be perfect for anyone looking to start out or even just for casual use

does what it says on the tin! for a sub £100 mixer you cant really complain has all the needed functions to do a basic mix only thing i didnt like is there only being master output but like i say for less then £100 you cant argue :)
This is a really good mixer for the budget DJ, Perfect if all you need is a simple set up with bass, treble, and mid control. Has its own mic input which is handy if your Decks/controller does not have a mic input. Also has a headphone output for cueing if you're using vinyl records. All in All, great mixer, and great price.
