Key Features
The Numark Mixstream Pro GO brings a new definition to the title "standalone DJ controller". Based on the already feature packed Mixstream Pro +, the GO means it is truly portable with a built in rechargeable battery.
Use the built in wif-fi to connect to the internet with a choice of 5 streaming services** as well as your own dropbox. On board analysis lets you play from any USB or SD card. Built in speakers pack a punch for those small get togethers.
Powered by Engine DJ OS you can browse, load and mix your tracks from a USB storage device, SD card or even a Dropbox account. Use the 7 inch multi-touch display to scroll and search your collection as well as create playlists and rate tracks, all without a computer.
Use the Mixstream Pro Go's built in wifi to connect to streaming services like Amazon Music Unlimited, Tidal, Beatsource Link, Beatport Link and Soundcloud GO Plus **. You won't even have to worry about wifi drop outs as once the track is loaded (usually within seconds) it stays on the Mixstream Pro Go's memory while on deck.
You can also use software from Serato DJ (future release) or Virtual DJ with the Mixstream Pro Go. Serato DJ Lite is unlocked by the Mixstream, it will also work with a paid license for Serato DJ Pro.
Use advanced features like Ableton Link to synchronise your DJ set with production software or hardware on the same network. Engine Lighting lets you run light shows from your MixStream Pro Go either pre-programmed in SoundSwitch with the DMX interface or control Philips Hue lighting over wifi on the same network.
Connect your Engine unit to the same network as your computer running Engine DJ to access tracks on your computer without exporting them. Your Engine unit will automatically see Engine DJ running on the same network where you will be able to access all tracks in the collection and playlists, all analysed and ready to go.
Touch FX
Control different effects easily by moving your finger across the screen to create unique effects in the most effortless way.
Day Mode
For summertime and brightly lit gigs, the really useful day mode inverts the screen colours to a white background with darker text and waveforms to make the display more visable.
Drop Sampler
8 available sample banks let you load your own or the pre-loaded samples to the performance pads and assign the output to any of the channels or the master output. Where the sampler is assigned to the master output, you can control the volume level on screen.
Engine OS units include pre-loaded sampler content with drum kits, scratch phrases and sound effects.
The controller itself features all you need to mix away. 2 large capacitive jog wheels to ptich bend or scratch, performance pads for triggering cue and loop points and a 2 channel mixer with FX. There is also 3 band EQ on each channel as well as a dedicated filter knob.
Hear your mix up close with built in monitor speakers. Two compact speakers on each side of the Mixstream Pro provide enough sound get going. Perfect for when you've got some friends around or just want to have a casual mix. You can even use the built in auto playlist function or listen back to a mix you recorded while you get on with other things.

Perfect for what it's designed to be!
This unit is fantastic! 5 star! But don't expect it to be more than it is. It's not top of the range, the features on it are ok but not brilliant, and for anyone expecting the PRO in the title to mean professional then sadly you may be a little disappointed. However, if you've done your research and you know what you're buying then this unit is superb!
I use it predominantly with Amazon Music which in itself has it's limitations. For the serious DJs you will struggle with the fact that Amazon do not supply key or BPM information for tracks until you have downloaded it for the first time, and the downloads are a little slow even with a decent wifi connection. But the fact that this unit connects directly to wifi including via a mobile phone hotspot makes it truly mobile. Coupled with very reasonable speakers for their size and an excellent built in battery it's spot on. For you're average sized room in a house you probably wouldn't even need to go full volume, and even if you do the sound is still great! In an average garden you can crank it right up and enjoy pretty decent sound. If you do feel the need then there are speaker outputs, although I haven't bothered using them yet as I bought this to use on the go, no set up required, just a full battery. There are better streaming services than Amazon if you have a subscription, but I already have Amazon for my Alexa and if I desperately need key/bpm then I can always connect my USB, Engine Prime has you covered.
I won't go into too much detail about the features on the unit. All the most common ones are there and they work ok. The filters and effects are far from the best but they certainly allow for creative DJing. The XY touch effects are great and a really welcome addition to Prime. No sign of stems but with a very simple update process directly from the unit via wifi there is certainly possibility for further updates to come. Check out the various review videos on YouTube for all that sort of thing. In terms of a real world user of this unit though, it gets a massive thumbs up from me! I love it! I've used it at home, in the garden, at a house party and even in the car. Aside from annoying the other passengers you could even technically use it on a plane with a USB if you really felt the need, if it qualifies as carry-on of course...
If you're looking for the best quality or the best gear for a club/bar then this is not for you. There are much better controllers for that. For what you get with the Mixstream Pro Go I think its great value that you can use anywhere, and that's why it gets the 5 stars from me!

I want to get this for streaming at remote locations how good are the in board speakers and how long does the battery last . Many thanks
We're in the process of testing the battery life. It will depend on a couple of factors. 1. If your'e using the wifi a lot. 2. How loud you have the speakers. We're estimateing around 4-5 hours with the speakers at 75% using wifi all the time. Should be more with the speakers lower or off. As for the speaker quality, we've always been impressed with what you get out of it. They aren't as good as separate speakers but decent and defined sound out of something so small. If you're in a small room they are plenty loud enough. Outdoors, any speaker will lack bass but still reasonable. Watch our video and see what you think.
