Mackie Thump 12

Great bang per pound!

One speaker didn't even power up. 100 % disappointed 1st purchase of powered speakers and I'm thinking of sending them back already.

These are brilliant speakers and I normally use them for front of house audio or stage monitors and they are light

Very pleased with my new speakers. Very Light weight which is ideal for a mobile dj. sound is spot on too.

These create a powerful and effective ambiance in the room, perfect for any DJ with a great bass combined together with the mids and trebles to create a crisp sound.

We use these speakers as monitors and as main PA and they cannot really be faulted. They are just the quality you expect from buying a Mackie product but in a smaller, lighter unit. Our units have been repaired multiple times and the simplicity of the repairs makes them cheap and easy to keep services on a regular basis. I highly recommend these speakers to anyone who needs active monitors or is starting a band.

I was looking for a good quality active speaker to replace my current kit, the main thing being that they were lighter in weight with equivalent or more power. These Thumps 12s fit the bill nicely at just 13kgs with an impressive output to match. Nice and easy to put on to your speaker pole or stand and perhaps a little safer too (my previous tops were almost 19kgs!). Sound quality is great too. I have used these for a couple of weddings now and have to say they sound very good with plenty of bass and good clarity even at high levels of output. I do think that the high frequencies are a little intrusive at times, but this can be trimmed back either on your mixer or on the controls on the rear of the units. This is a personal view and not a criticism of these great little speakers. They are easy to handle and load in / out, have great features and sound nice with a considerable output - good price too. Recommended by me, gets 5 stars.

Loud, quality sound, easy to set up. everything I wanted from a speaker! worth the money...

Got these last week and used them for the first time at the weekend and the sound was great a total differance was heard from everybody , setting were very easy to set so if your thinking about speakers you can't go wrong with these +++++excellent +++++

Unboxed my eagerly awaited pair of these new Mk2 Thump 12's today and quite simply, they blew me away with stunning detail, rich deep powerful but precise bass and above all, strong silky smooth mids and clean silky vocals. I've been running the previous version and, most excellent Mk1 Thump-12's for a while now and whilst I was expecting to hear a difference today (as I swapped them directly out with the Mk2's), I am really very pleased with the jump in sound-quality, power and presence.
