Has anyone used this light with the Pioneer DJ RB-DMX1? If so what were the results? Thanks. |

Does anyone know what the switch "SFS" on the back panel is for? |

Its for Single Beam Protection - basically prevents the laser from emitting a single pulse beam. Even with this on though I would still recommend not doing audience scanning without extra safety equipment such as the Pangolin Safety Lense. See more answers (1) |
Do you own the Laserworld CS-1000 RGB Mk2 Laser? Why not write a review based on your experience with it.

Fab piece of kit but to get the most out of it you need software. I went for pangolin quickshow which was more expensive than the actual laser....nuts!!! However theres not much you cant do once you have the software. Keeps me one step ahead of other mobile djs as a lot of folk aren't willing to spend almost a grand on their mobile light show. You can do different text writing in different colours, shapes, has loads of preset shows and animations but these are all with the software. On its own it is pretty boring running through its own programme over and over.
Excellent service from djkit, the first laser i was sent failed after 7 days, another was sent out straight away and the faulty unit collected from my door,A1 service! The laser itself is a brilliant piece of kit, bright and great value for money, recommended purchase..

This is a solid product which works well. The metal door helps with transport and protects the glass beam port. The clamp handle can easily be reversed if you want to mount it on top of a truss or similar and is much easier than reversing the DMX settings. If you have decent DMX knowledge you can program good shows as in full DMX mode it has excellent control. The sensitivity and pattern size allow a simple quick setup if required. It does come with old DMX style Dip Switch addressing but this is simple to operate. Like most lasers to get the most out of it you need to use laser software. I have used it with Quickshow and it produces awesome displays. As it is a class 4 laser it requires a remote interlock and I would thoroughly recommend attaching it to an emergency stop button. These can be purchased from about £5 and provides an excellent extra safety layer.
I bought one of these lasers and at first I was really happy with it. I took it out on my first gig and the red diode failed on the laser on its first outing. I got a brand new unit from Laserworld and it took them 2 weeks to send me a replacement unit. Got a new one finally and it was decent for around 9 months. The laser failed again with the same problem the red diode. When they work properly they are a decent laser very bright as well
