Great for the price lasted me a good 4 years of use

If you are looking to get a slight boost in quality out of your sound system and need a relatively low cost solution, this is a good buy. The built in amp and crossover takes the bass out of your main speakers and provides a tight punch. I wouldn't expect to get a club like sound from any 15" sub, but instead the 15 inch driver provides a very tight bass which sounds great for most events and small to medium room sizes. This in my opinion makes music sound better than the 18" driver in an all round sense as you don't get that heavy rumble. Although as i said above, if you are looking to play bass heavy music all the time, I would look at a more expensive 18" driver. If you are on a budget, this is a good option as the built in crossover will take out the bass from your highs which will in most cases improve the quality and volume. The built quality is reasonable if you look after your equipment, the wood frame helps with the acoustics although can chip and scratch if you aren't careful, I did also have to replace the volume knob although that was my fault for lending it to a friend...
