Originally ordered a dmx version but discontinued. Would have paid the extra because I'm a boy and wanted all the features but this will suffice. Good value for money although has the faintest halo around the edges and the build quality is a little sloppy on this unit... Excellent service from djkit.com
Top 10 ReviewerI had never really considered this type of light effect until I was helping out at an event and saw one in use. It was a wedding, and the DJ just used the rotating gobo on the floor while the bride and groom did their first dance. It was subtle, just enough to set the scene and not too much to detract from the happy couple. I wanted one! The promo spot is quite a compact unit and relatively light in weight. As such it won't take up too much space on your rig. It's supplied with a number of gobos which will cover just about every type of event you could DJ for. The 20w LED produces an extremely bright beam which is enhanced with a little smoke or haze, but that's not essential. The beam rotates at a fixed speed which some may see as a drawback, but the speed is OK, not too fast, not too slow. Direction of rotation can be changed by use of the switch on the rear - for opposing rotation if you are using a pair for example. A pair of the promo spots will fit in an Accu-case AC100 bag. All in all I like these units. They add a personal touch to any event, not a room filler but not designed to be either. Adds a touch of class to your show. Recommended, gets 5 stars from me.
