Equinox Helix 100W Gobo Flower

The light output from these units is fantastic. The show modes are a very useful inclusion and the slow modes and colour or gobo locking modes are a great feature for atmospheric build up at events. The internal programs get the job done. The slight gripes. Whilst the gobo and colour change is sound to light, the motor rotation isn't. This is random programming. Get caught napping at a big tracks breakdown and the motors just keep going, relying on you to switch the lighting modes. Not always convenient. The optional mini controller is missing a strobe feature quite badly. Having used Falcon lights back in the day I wrongly assumed this would be here too. Sadly it is not. The light is capable of dimming and strobing, and when linked to something like sound switch, you will get to see what it can really do.

I've been looking for something like this for a long time to replace my Acme Cheetahs and this fits the bill. Huge on brightness and flexibility. Easy to set up and use, I control it with a CA-8 controller, simly because I'm not a DMX fan, though I have tried to get my head round it. Great effect early on for an empty dancefloor while guests are arriving and during food etc. Once the party starts (hopefully June 21st) a flick of a switch and it roars into action. Very pleased.

These lights are so bright and the gobo of snowflake was so handy during the Xmas run. My only negative was the fan packed in after a few months in one of them and was without for 3 weeks or so waiting on repair. Can't fault djkit.com. Great light.
