I've been looking at getting a booth for quite awhile so when this arrived I thought what a great product & price. I ordered with the optional black lycra cover to. djkit.com were great and as soon as this arrived in stock, it was delivered. BUT My God !!! I wish I was warned about the weight and size of this. I suffer from a bad back and I need help to lift this also if you're under 5'5 I doubt you'll lift it off the floor.... looks stunning set up but a weight lifting course should come free !!!!
I recently purchased the Equinox DJ Booth & Overhead kit. I have to say apart from being super heavy its a fantastic bit of kit and I'm happy with my purchase. Its simple to setup and incredibly sturdy even with a bar full of lights on the overhead.
Pro's - Sturdy, Simple to Setup, Best Value for money, Plenty of room for your kit on the shelves.
Con's - Heavy, The bag is not strong enough when fully loaded, a little too tall (personal preference)
It would benefit from having a better star cloth, but I'm sure that will come soon enough.
Brilliant booth. There is loads of space on the deckbonce you get the boards in place.
The hinges don't look very strong but time will tell on those. No problems so far.
This DJ booth is brilliant, super quick to setup, great build quality, lots of add on options and a great price.
If you are looking for a DJ stand I would recommend paying the extra and getting one of these rather than the basic 4ft stands - you'll only buy one eventually anyway ;)
Excellent. Simple to erect, takes just a few mins. Highly effective when backlit. Sturdy and spacious. Would benefit from some sturdy rubber feet for mounting the booth on polished wooden dance floors, otherwise and excellent product.
This stand is quick and very easy to set-up and really looks the part. (and it stops people putting their drinks down on your gear!) Personally I use the white cloth that comes with it for weddings, and I got the black cloth for everything else. Few issues include its weight to carry, and it doesn't take much to rip the handles of the carry case. For the money, its really worth while.
An absolutely great looking DJ Booth. BUT, because theres a bleeding shelf that goes all the way to the lycra, you cannot uplight it all the way through.... This is a big flaw... So, if you are thinking of buying this and wanting to uplight it then think again!!!
I bought the Equinox booth and overhead kit after much research because this seemed like the best value for money compared to the other boots on the market.
I was not disappointed at all. Apart from being on the heavy side i cannot complain. The build quality is very good and it is very sturdy and not flimsy in any way. Assembly is very straight forward and the overhead kit is very good.
The only issues i have with the booth is the white lycra cloth. If you set up the cloth with the tie strings towards the floor i find that the cloth sags a little in the middle section of the booth. What i found helps with this is if you rotate the cloth so that the tie strings are at the top of the booth it sits nicely when you tie the string to the booth.
