It's time to vote for us in the Pro Mobile awards. 

Every year, the industry's leading publication invites readers to vote for their favourite gear, people and retailer. 

We were so happy that we were voted as your favourite retailer in last years awards and we're hoping to do the same again this year. 

 

A brief recap of our year:

You may know that djkit® won Retailer of the Year in the Pro Mobile Awards in 2021. Whilst it wasn’t the first time we have won this prestigious award, it was that bit more special following a very difficult year for us and, of course, everyone in our industry. Since winning, our year has not got any easier.

djkit® was founded in 1999 by Wilber and James Craik when father and son took over a second-hand CD and vinyl store in Newbury. And despite growing into one of the UK’s largest DJ equipment retailers over the following two-and-a-bit decades, the business has maintained strong family values.

It was with great sadness that we said goodbye to Wilber in June of last year. As a proud father, grandfather, as well as widower to his wife and our mum Susan who left us in November 2019, Wilber was well known, respected and loved by so many in our industry.

Whilst the worldwide pandemic has presented us with many challenges to overcome, the loss of one of our founders, our Dad, and our inspiration, has been even harder. We take great comfort in the kind words of his family, friends and indeed the many suppliers and of course, customers, who reached out to us.

At the end of March, there will be a new winner of Retailer of the Year at the Pro Mobile Awards. It would be a huge honour for us to win this, and to celebrate and dedicate the win to Wilber.
