djkit Wins ‘Retailer of the Year’ at 2021 Pro Mobile Awards
At djkit, there is nothing we enjoy more than an event or ceremony that celebrates the efforts of DJs, performers and those who support the individual in general. Perhaps with one exception - when we ourselves take home another prestigious award to add to our collection of accolades.

That is why it is with a huge pride that we are able to announce that djkit was has won the ‘Retailer of the Year’ award at the recent 2021 Pro Mobile Awards. One of the highest-profile events on the annual calendar, the Pro Mobile Awards celebrates the accomplishments of performing artists, product manufacturers, service providers and retailers from across the country.
For the 2021 Awards, the competition was expanded to include 10 categories for the first time, up from the usual eight. As usual, DJs from all over the UK contributed their opinions, resulting in a list of winners chosen by those who know the industry better than anyone else.

“In previous years, there have been eight awards, mainly focusing on DJ equipment, but also honouring some individuals. The shortlists for the first six categories were published in the last issue of the magazine – and online – but the winners were chosen by Pro Mobile readers through an online vote. This year saw the addition of 2 'Special Recognition Awards', so for the first time, we presented 10 awards for our unique industry. We had a truly fantastic response to this, with over 1000 DJs contributing their opinion. This means that these awards are presented by Pro Mobile, but on behalf of all of our readers.” - 2021 Pro Mobile Awards

This year’s ceremony took place online for the first time, due to COVID-19 restrictions. Though this did not dampen spirits for one moment - particularly among the worthy recipients of the 10 prestigious awards on offer.
