Aspiring DJ’s and promoters in Newbury and surrounding areas have been in need of a way to learn or improve their skills. A single, central point where they can learn, get advice and hold a real event.

 

Newbury’s famous supplier of sound and lighting equipment, djkit , has started a new venture to support local new and aspiring DJs to help them establish themselves.

 

Together with Newbury’s newest event venue, CORE, djkit will be running workshops for DJ’s to help them improve their skills.  They will also help them create and promote an event using the new venue and their marketing team. 

 

Workshops will take place during the Easter break and later in year. 

 

Only a few simple steps to holding and promoting an event with CORE. 

 

1. Speak to CORE event team about your event idea and discuss options 

2. Select a date that works with plenty of marketing time. 

3. Learn how to market the event, tips and tricks to make your event successful.

4. After the event analyse all the stats and learn what worked / didn’t work and how to carry on the interaction with your audience and build the demand and hype for your next one.
