The new speaker range from Db Technologies at first glance looks slick and impressive. Dare I say this could be the rival to the Alto TS range?. Expected in the uk from around the middle of March, I am definitely looking forward to having a listen. The company also claims these units to be feather light so once again upon delivery this is something we will also be testing. I have a good feeling about them, and like the design. Will they live up to the name and B HYPE ???

B·H series aims to provide a professional yet efficient sonic performance to all kind of users, combining an extremely efficient CLASS D amplifier with aggressive sound pressure levels (up to 126,5 dB for the 15” cabinet), while delivering the most accurate sound reproduction.
The family includes 4 two-way cabinets, all of which have been equipped with premium 1”compression drivers and, respectively 8”, 10” 12” and 15”woofers.
The internal acoustic design features an innovative asymmetrical horn ensuring a wide and uniform throw pattern. What’s more, dBTechnologies team crafted an accurate digital sound processing, allowing users to choose between 2 preset EQ: FLAT or BOOST. This way, all B·H models succeed in delivering the most faithful sound performance while boosting any background music into the wildest party.
The featherweight cabinets (from 14 to 38 lbs) come with a clean and contemporary full grille design, enhancing both portability (3 handles -1 x side and 1 on top-) and multifuncionality: each cabinet can be used horizontally as a stage monitor (on both sides) and features a pole mount cup in order to be used on tripods or stacked on dBTechnologies Subs.
