Works perfectly no problems

I got this product as my second ever DMX dongle. It's native control over MyDMX2 is awesome and really easy to use. I've done quite a few gigs now where I've altered my lights to match the venue dressing or focus on a mirrorball etc.. Even for focussing lights on guest speakers etc, it's just so much better than sound to light or other entry level solutions (such as freestyler) All in all a great piece of kit.

Using a Mac Book Pro I've found this software is buggy, you could be programming lights or changing a colour on the live menu and the system will just crash for little reason. The crash report is pointless as well as that crashes from time to time, a problem with the developer apparently. It does have some cool features here and there but good luck trying to get them to work before it crashes. All negative criticisms aside it's an alright piece of software just nothing spectacular.

best dmx soft/hardware on the market for all ranges of experiences..probably the best pixel mapping function out there as-well even though they don't advertise that function very much...10/10

Loads of ADJ tutorials on Youtube which is great but the software seems a bit unstable still. Make sure you get into the habit of saving your shows as you program

The ADJ MyDMX 2.0 is a perfect DMX solution for any DMX programmable lighting... With an endless list of built in profiles you'll probably have one in their for your fixture, however if you don't, then don't worry, the guys at ADJ will build you one in a few days free of charge if you email over the fixture manual to them. The hardware feels solid, without being big and clunky, and the UI on the software is superb... with it being split across 3 simple and easy to use screens - Setup (order your fixtures and assign DMX addresses) - Edit (build your show sequences, assign MIDI/Keyboard hotcues) - Live (quickly and easily switch between your sequences by clicking or using your hotcues) Downsides (no sound to light, thats about it) Once again a fab product by ADJ, absolutely transformed my mobile rigs to really feel like fixed club installs...

I recently replaced my software to the ADJ MyDMX 2.0 , what an absolute pleasure to use ! Drag and drop your fixtures , loads of programming options for each of my lights , all listed in their library,great support from ADJ in the Netherlands , all in all 5 stars are well deserved ! From installation to set up I quickly developed a great show and no glitches or crashes , looking forward to really getting my teeth into programming a mind blowing show . Once again above and beyond service from DK kit , super fast next day deliver as always .

The hardware seems decent quality and build - as far as I can see it is only compatible with ADJ's own software. The software is a work-in-progress and has some glitches, like not being able to chain scenes (latest beta on a MAC). The fitting library is comprehensive, if a little flakey on some non-ADJ fittings but I've been able to fix that so far with the library editor. I'm hopeful because the guy doing support seems very helpful and responsive in the support forum. Promising.

Great way to control your lights on a budget

As soon as I downloaded the software and tested it out for the first time I fell in love with it. The patch page is really simple and you can easily patch your fixtures straight into the universe. It also gives you the address of each fixture and what their dipswitch value would be. The editor is fantastic with many options available. The effects generator is great and gives your lighting the 'wow' factor! This software is extremely good no matter how big or how small your setup is! Highly recommended!!!!

Really good piece of kit and affordable.. Using with isolution 250s moving heads. Software for mac is kind of buggy hoping for some fix update.

This gives a fantastic amount of channels and control, without having to spend hundreds of pounds on a physical controller! You can produce an amazing light show, without having to leave your laptop/computer, and that is a great advantage. The only issue I have is that it sometimes crashes on my laptop, but it is old, and so this isn't really surprising. I would recommend to anyone.

Use this with my MacBook Pro and the Novation Launchpad, fantastic bit of kit and perfect for shows. Only problem is you cannot layer scenes.
